Micro-Current Therapy
WHAT IS DENAS MICROCURRENT THERAPY?
Dynamic Electro Neuro Adaptive Stimulation (DENAS) is a non-invasive form of treatment whereby body zones are treated with micro impulses of electric current. These impulses of current are close to the body’s own neurological impulses. The body or organ will interpret these DENAS impulses as natural and coming from the body itself – and thereby self-regulate.
Anytime we experience pain, this is a signal that something is not working properly within an organ or a system within our body. Since our body is a self-healing, self-regulating system – in most cases, it is able to “fix” itself. The basic principle of DENAS therapy is to help enhance or recover lost connections between the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and our internal organs. Another unique feature of DENAS is that it is a biofeedback machine. Electrical signals from the DENAS machine change according to how your own electrical organ or system responds to the treatment – so there is continual back-and-forth information taking place.
Although not much is known about DENAS-Therapy in North America, it has become accepted as a new form of treatment in prevention, therapy and rehabilitation all over the world. The main focus of this therapy is on supporting the body to heal itself and enhance its own regenerative abilities.
DENAS can be used for a wide variety of symptoms and health problems which include the nervous system, respiratory organs, cardiovascular system, digestion and urinary tract organs, musculoskeletal, endocrine, and reproductive systems; diseases of ENT eyes and skin. As well as emotional conditions, including anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
The origins of DENAS began over 30 years ago by Russian scientists, particularly Dr. Alexander Kerasev, who was part of the medical program at the Centre of Aerospace Flight. It was meant as a drug replacement for cosmonauts during their space missions and was eventually utilized by Olympic and elite athletes. For many years now, it has been in use throughout Europe, the UK, and Australia, with astounding results winning numerous awards worldwide. We are now introducing it in Canada.
